The Staff Attorney will represent unaccompanied minors and immigrant children not living with their parents before the Immigration Court and the Department of Homeland Security. The attorney will have a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school, and be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar. The attorney will have at least 2 years of experience in immigration cases involving humanitarian-based immigration benefits, such as asylum and special immigrant juvenile status. The attorney will be a fluent speaker of English and Spanish. The attorney will have demonstrated the capacity to exhibit appropriate sensitivity to and empathy for children who have survived traumatic experiences, and will be passionate about serving immigrants and vulnerable populations.
Salary ranges from $48,000-$56,000 depending upon experience.
