The incumbent in this position performs high quality administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties to support the attorneys in the Seminole Tribe of Florida Office of the General Counsel. The position also provides litigation support to outside counsel, and clerical assistance to Tribal Members.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of related office environment experience is required; completion of a two (2) year legal assistant educational program and five (5) years of related office environment experience will be considered. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Knowledge of legal terminology is required. Demonstrated proficiency utilizing various technological devices and software packages, including the Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Ability to travel to all reservations and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
